St. Jude's Walk A Thon at Withlacoochee Bay Trail Sat.
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Walk a Thon scheduled for Saturday, Sep-
tember 10, 2011. This event is being held at the Withlacoochee Bay Trail at the Barge Ca-
nal in Crystal River and is open to the entire community. In addition to the walk a thon we
will be having an absolutely free family event. We will have free hot dogs and water, free
games and activities for the kids, free raffles for the adults and kids, and several businesses
and organizations there to promote the children’s services they have.
Thrift Store Knows What To Wear
Now’s the time to update your wardrobe with the latest fashions from the Yan-
keetown-Inglis Woman’s Club Thrift Store. The Thrift Store officially opens on Wednes-
day, September 7th, at 10am and is offering a 15% discount on all women’s slacks (ex-
cluding jeans) for the month of September. As a way to thank those who have served our
country, a 10% discount is offered to all Veterans (with ID) on their total purchase. Stop in
the brightly painted shop to pick up the latest goodies for your home and your closet!

Bingo on Thursday, September 15th at 7pm. Doors open at 6pm to buy your cards and

The Inglis Post Office is hosting a special passport event in Inglis, Florida on
Saturday, September 17, 2011 from 09:00 am until 1:00 pm to provide passport informa-
tion to U.S. citizens and to accept passport applications. The Inglis Post Office is joining
the Department of State in celebrating Passport Day in the USA 2011, a national passport
acceptance and outreach event.
