Levy County Meet The Candidates
The Inglis Yankeetown Lions Club invites you to meet the candidates for the
Levy County Commission on Wednesday, October 6th at the Lions Club, 59th Street, Yan-
keetown. The program will begin at 7:00 PM. District 2 candidates Nancy Bell (Dem) and
Owen “Chad” Johnson (Rep) and District 4 candidates Ryan Bell (Rep) and Lilly Rooks
(Dem) will each receive time at the podium to address the audience followed by a short
time to field questions. A reception will follow during which the voters will have the op-
portunity to meet and interact with the candidates in small groups. Refreshments will be
served. The forum is free and open to all candidates and the public.
Get a Head Start on Medicare Part D 2011
October is the month SHINE, a volunteer program with the FL Dept of Elder
Affairs, offers to assist you in finding a Medicare Part D Drug Plan for 2011 that is the
least expensive for you and will cover your drugs. Enrollment for Part D begins Nov 15th
and ends Dec 31st. Bring your Medicare Card, your Rx Drug Plan Card and your Rx drug
bottles or a printout from your pharmacy of the last 90 days of your drugs. SHINE pro-
vides free, unbiased and confidential counseling on Medicare issues. Come by a site or call
