The Levy County Republican Ex-

Chiefland, Monday evening, with Chair-
woman Michelle Finnen presiding - and

Bell’s candidacy for the Levy County Com-
mission did not materialize.

against Bell in the August primary for Levy
County Commission, said many party mem-
bers have said, privately, that they felt their
votes had been stolen because Bell had not
disclosed his past criminal record (convict-
ed for dealing in stolen property,1996). He
also said that federal grants
could be in jeopardy if Bell
were elected.
