The League of Women Voters of Citrus County focused on Amendment One The
Florida Water and Land Conservation Amendment at their September meeting.The October

Amendment Two Medical Marijuana Use will be discussed by Bianca Garza , Re-
gional Field Organizer for the west coast of Florida with United for Care, an advocate for
this amendment. Ms. Garza is a graduate of the University of South Florida with a BA in
Communications specializing in public advocacy.
The League has also invited Denise Dymond Lyn to discuss Amendment Three
which concerns the appointment of certain judge vacancies. Ms. Lyn has a private law prac-
tice and ran for election to the Fifth Circuit Court of Florida in 2014. Amendment Three was
