Clothe The Children Project
The Altar & Rosary Society of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church is now collect-
ing gently used and new clothing, ages 1-12, for their new community project “Clothe the
Children”. Donations can be brought to the church Monday - Friday from 9-4. The church
is located at 7525 U.S. Hwy. 41 in Dunnellon. Clothing will be distributed on Thursday,
August 25th from 10 - 2 to families in need. Gift cards are also accepted to any local depart-
ment stores and will be used to purchase new clothing for the children. For more informa-

Save Our Waters Week Annual Adopt-A-Shore Coastal Clean Up
The Citrus County Aquatics Service Division in cooperation with the Ocean Con-
servancy, and the Citrus 20/20 Save Our Waters Week Committee will be conducting Citrus
County’s sixteenth annual Adopt-A-Shore/Coastal Clean-Up on Saturday, September 17
from sunrise to 11:30 a.m.
Registration began July 20 for groups of two or more people choosing to adopt a
