He said he'd recently injured his leg and had used the woman's money to pay his own medi-

cal bills (approximately $4,000). He said, other than a $500 per month mortgage, he uses

the balance of the woman's $2,300 per month income for his own medical treatment, food,

electricity, satellite television, cigarette tobacco and other daily needs. He said he could have

gotten a job, but didn't.

driving a 1989 Honda Civic, traveling south on County Rd. 581 (S. Pleasant Grove Rd.),

approaching E. Hillsdale Ln. For unknown reasons, the Civic veered off the roadway to the

right. Brown lost control of the car, which traveled in a southeast direction across both lanes

of the roadway and onto the east grass shoulder where the passenger side of the car collided

with a tree. The report stated that all three occupants were wearing a seatbelt and alcohol

was not a factor in the crash.

Citrus County Port Authority Set to Meet Next Week

The Citrus County Port Authority will meet Thursday, August 28 in the board chambers,

Room 100, of the Citrus County Courthouse in Inverness at 9:00 a.m.
