Jeremy Michaels Mitch, 26, 4340 SW 181st Ct., Dunnellon, was arrested at the
Marion County Detention Facility by the Citrus County Sheriff s Office, Aug. 9, on an arrest
warrant for failure to appear (original charge of possession of cannabis less than 20 gms.).
His bond was set at none.
Jeremy Wayne Billups, 29, 2991 E. Brigadoon Ct., Hernando, was arrested by the
Citrus County Sheriff s Office, Aug. 9, on a Marion County warrant for fraud/giving false
information to obtain a refund. His bond was set at $500. Billups was already incarcerated
at the Citrus County Detention Facility due to being arrested on two warrants, July 26, that
charged him with 16 counts of giving false information to a metal recycler and trafficking in
stolen property (no bond was set on these charges).
Dakota Lee Tedder, 22, 3402 S. Aberdeen Ter., Homosassa, was arrested by the
Citrus County Sheriff s Office, Aug. 9, charged with grand theft ($300 or more, but less than
$5,000) from the Crystal River Home Depot, which was captured on video, according to the
arrest report. The loss prevention officer contacted the sheriff s office on Aug. 7 with the
decision to prosecute. Tedder was located at the Bella Villa Hotel (Homosassa) and arrested
on the charge. His bond was set at $2,000.
Brian William Schneider, 31, 7089 W. Cardinal St., Homosassa, was arrested by
the Citrus County Sheriff s Office, Aug. 10, charged with felony retail theft ($300 or more,
but less than $5,000) and trafficking or endeavoring to traffic in stolen property. His bond
was set at $12,000. According to the arrest report, he is accused of taking three GPS units
and a cordless telephone system valued at $416.88 from the Homosassa Walmart, around
midnight the previous day, which was captured on security video, however he left the store,
and the tag number of his vehicle was not captured. The following day, he returned to the
store, looking for his keys and his tag number was noted and given to the sheriff s office. A
