County Sheriff's Office, July 26, charged with retail petit theft ($1.79 bottle of root beer),
possession of a controlled substance (8 hydromorphone 2 mg pills), bribery and possession
of drug paraphernalia (a used syringe with narcotics residue). His total bond was set at
$18,500. The report stated that the owner of the Texaco gas station on W. Grover Cleveland
Blvd. in Homosassa contacted the sheriff's office, stating that Yates appearead to be under
the influence of narcotics and he had drank about a third of the root beer, then sat the bottle
down without paying for it. When deputies arrived, the report stated, Yates allegedly at-
tempted to bribe the deputy with a GPS unit.
Felicia Marie Kettleman, 27, 2505 N. Nina Ter., Crystal River, was arrested by the
Citrus County Sheriff's Office, July 27, charged with auto theft (a blue Hyundai Sonata).
