witness tampering complaints criminal
A Sworn Complaint was filed against two Inglis men on felony charges of
mischief, related to an alleged incident that took place on July 26, The men are Chris M.
Obry, 20, 148 Park St. and Cody John Urso, 18, 47 Lois St., both of Inglis.
According to the reports of the incident, the victim’s 2002 4-door Chevrolet Impala
was parked at a Neeld St. residence between 9:20 p.m. and 9:50 p.m., July 26, and during
the time the vehicle was parked there, it sustained damages in the amount of $2,500 to the
driver’s side fender, the driver’s side rear door and the passenger’s side fender. As the dam-
ages exceeded $1,000 the mens’ criminal mischief charges were elevated to a felony.
Statements by the victim and witnesses claim that O Bry and Urso got into an argu-
ment with the owner of the vehicle about $45 she owes O’Bry and the legitimacy of the debt.
After the argument, the owner left the residence with a friend, in her friend’s car. When the
woman left, hew car was undamaged, but when she returned, the car was damaged. O’Bry
and Urso walked out of the residence and did not return. They went to the roadside, waiting
to be picked up. The car’s owner stated that O’Bry has made threats toward her, that if he
didn’t get his money he would profanely harm her, both verbally and by text messages.
On July 31, O’Bry was arrested at a McReary St. residence by the Inglis Police
