Veterans Services Officer Available at Homosassa Library
The Citrus County Veterans Service Department has announced effective July 16,
2015 they will have a Veteran Service Officer available the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the
month from 10:00 am to 1:00 PM at the Homosassa Library, located at 4100 S. Grandmarch
Avenue in Homosassa. To schedule an appointment, please call 352-527-5915.
Bird Trail at Landfill Closed
The Bird Trail at the Citrus County Landfill will be closed from July 6 through July
15. Please contact Solid Waste Management at 352-527-7670 for any questions.
Citrus Commissioner Earns Certified County
Commissioner Designation
The Florida Association of Counties (FAC) presented Citrus County Commis-
sioner Scott Adams with the Certified County Commissioner (CCC) designation following
Adams's completion of a comprehensive study program developed by the association. Com-
missioner Adams received the designation with 12 other county commissioners during an
awards ceremony held at the FAC Annual Conference in St. Johns County, FL.
