Re: Little girl killed by jumping Stureon on Suwannee River. Please, if you can help.
Tanya and Waylon Rippy are friends of my daughter and their little girl Jaylon, had
been to our home, with my grand daughter. This past week a 7 foot, 200 pound plus sturgeon
jumped into their boat and struck the mother, son and daughter. All three were taken to the
hospital in Gainesville, Florida where the five year old daughter was pronounced dead due
to brain damage.
She was a beautiful little girl and this is a tragedy beyond belief. There is a fund
set up for them on "Go Fund Me". Tanya, Jaylon's mother was also hurt. She has facial in-
juries that required numerous stitches plus a broken nose and missing teeth. Trevor, Jaylon's
brother, has a broken arm and other injuries. Please if you can, contribute to the fund set up
to help with the medical and funeral expenses. Besides the "Go Fund Me ) account there is
a second fund set up for them at Drummond Community Bank in Chiefland, Florida in their
name (Tanya and Waylon Rippy).
Any amount that you can afford will be greatly appreciated. It will never bring this
