This typical waterfront scene from days gone by is actually Wally's Gold Mine Marina run by
Shrimp Landing
Wally Howe. The date was October of 1966. Later bought and run by the Billy Kennedy family
who added the two story home and replaced the old wooden building with a concrete bait shop
and did away with the fuel pumps. Today it is B's Marina and Campground, Yankeetown and
48 Hwy. 19 S. at Hickory Island
the concrete bait shop was removed. History by Sally Price.
