grams) and possession of drug paraphernalia (a grinder with marijuana residue and two
digital scales). His total bond was set at $4,000. The items were found during a traffic stop
in Homosassa in which a K9 made a positive alert on the vehicle, which was searched, and
the items were found. Chapman said he'd purchased the items in Springhill, and he was on
his way to a friends house "to partake in them," according to the report.
Kirt Wilfred Cooper, 39, Inglis, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office,
July 11, on a Citrus County warrant for violation of probation (no bond) and failure to ap-
pear ($2,500 bond). The report stated that deputies arrived at a residence to make a wellbe-
ing check on a person who was ill, and Cooper was inside the residence.
Edwin Irizarry, Jr., 25, 2433 W. Wavecrest Dr., Dunnellon, was arrested by the
Citrus County Sheriff's Office, July 11, on a Citrus County warrant for allowing minors to
use alcohol or drugs at an open house party. His bond was set at $500.
Katherine Michelle Naylor, 43, 6409 S. Lima Ave., Homosassa, was arrested by
the Citrus County sheriff's Office, July 11, charged with trafficking in methamphetamine
(17.3 gms, 4.3 gms, of which, was found at the detention facility inside her female orifice)
