Household Hazardous Waste Drop Off July 30
Citrus County Central Landfill will be conducting a Hazardous Household Waste
Drop Off at the Central Landfill on Saturday, July 30, 2016 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The first
60 pounds or 10 gallons are free.
Hazardous Household Waste also accepts collections weekly on Tuesday, Thurs-
day, and Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information, contact the Citrus County Solid
Waste Management at 352-527-7670.
Proposed Citrus County Budget Now Available
Press conference to be held July 21 at 1:00pm. County Administrator Randy Oliver
will answer questions on his proposed budget for Fiscal 2016/17 during a press conference
on Thursday, July 21 at 1:00pm. Press representatives are invited to the Lecanto Govern-
ment Complex, Suite 267. The proposed budget is available to view on the BOCC website
(www.bocc.citrus.fl.us/).
The preliminary budget hearing will be Wednesday, July 27, 2016 in the Commis-
sion chambers, Room 100, at the Citrus County Courthouse in Inverness starting at 9am.
The meeting is open to the public.

goal for 2015 was set at 50% recycling rate. Citrus County is proud to have exceeded the
