Pedestrian
Killed in
Bronson Crash
A Bronson pedestrian was killed
when hit by a vehicle about 9:47 p.m., July
9, on Alternate U.S. Hwy. 27, 1 mile north
of Bronson.
According to the Florida Highway
Patrol, the driver was 48 year-old David
Letchworth of Valrico, FL who was driv-
ing a 2006 Dodge Charger, traveling north
on Alternate U.S. 27 in the right lane. The
pedestrian, Kaleb Carter, was walking north
on Alternate U.S. 27 on the roadway. The
report stated that the vehicle was unable
to avoid a collision with Mr. Carer, and its
right front struck him.
