Man Arrested for Pawning Friend's Playstation
After a get-together with a friend, a Crystal River man complained to authorities
that his Sony PSP Go multi-media device was missing and that an acquaintance had told
him he’d taken it and pawned it. When the theft was reported to the Citrus County Sheriff’s
Office on June 5, a deputy with met the victim at Pat’s Pawn Shop located at 915 SE Hwy.
19 in Crystal River.
The victim said he’d had a friend over to his house the previous day and evening,
hanging around and listening to music. He said, around 2:00 p.m., he noticed his multi me-
dia device was missing from the table, but didn’t think much about it and went to work at
9:00 p.m. When he returned home around 5:30 a.m., June 5, the device was still missing. He
told his friends that they needed to leave the house because he was calling authorities about
the theft of his Sony PSP Go multi-media device. At that point, he said, Nicholas “Nick”
Jonathan Aungst, 24, 8085 W. Rosella Ct., Crystal River, pulled him aside and told him
he’d taken the device and pawned it at Pat’s Pawn Shop for $30. The victim said he went to
the pawn shop to
