morrow,” McCallum says. “The people of Levy County deserve the best. As Levy County
Sheriff, I pledge to use sound, conservative management to ease the burden on taxpayers and
to provide the people with honest, effective and efficient law enforcement.”
Besides law enforcement experience, McCallum has a vast array of civic experi-
ence that makes him both well known to the people of Levy County and a true supporter of
our communities. He has served people in the following: Chiefland City Commissioner;
President of the Levy County chapter of the American Cancer Society; Chairman of the Cys-
tic Fibrosis Campaign; President of the Chiefland Quarterback Club; Chiefland Community
Council on Drug Prevention and the Levy County Advisory Board.
He has coached youth league football, basketball and baseball, along with numer-
ous other volunteer efforts on behalf of the citizens and youth of Levy County.
McCallum and his family are active members of the First United Methodist Church
in Chiefland.  McCallum says, “It is my sincere desire to work for the people of Levy
County and to make the best county in the State of Florida even better.”
