Dunnellon crash seriously injures two women
Joshua Yapp, 27, Inglis, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 15,
Two area women were seriusly injured in a two vehicle crash, early Wednesday
charged with battery, touch or strike. His surety/cash bond was set at $10,000. The report morning, June 24, in Marion County. Both women were transported to Ocala Regional
stated that Yapp is accused of hitting the victim on the head, twice with an open hand, and Medical Center in Ocala.The crash occurred at 12:00 am at SW Beach Blvd.in Dunnellon.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, both vehicles were traveling west on SW Beach

before Berg's arrest, a deputy received a tip that the motorcycle was inside a small outbuild-
ing on Berg's property. Berg gave permission for the property to be searched. Berg said he
did not steal the motorcycle and had no idea how it came to be on the property he has rented
for two years.The report stated there were witnesses to the theft.
Brandy Safawna Smith, 40, 588 Hwy. 40 W., Inglis, was arrested by the Citrus
County Sheriff's Office, June 17, charged with felony possession of a controlled substance
(5 grams methamphetamine). Her bond was set at $2,000.The report stated that a deputy
noted Smith staggering, as though she were under the influence of a substance on NE U.S.
Hwy. 19 in Crystal River, near the intersection of N.Citrus Ave.The report stated that Smith
told the deputy that the last time she'd used drugs was about a week previous. She then
handed the deputy her handbag, and the drug was found.
Amanda Lynn Hardesty, 23, Dunnellon, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's
Office, June 17, on an Orange County warrant for RICO (racketeer influenced and corrupt
organizations) and conspiracy to traffic in amphetamine (200 grams or more). Her total
bond was set at $200,000.
Jeffrey Todd Brady, 33, Homosassa, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's
Office, June 17, charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill.

hearing, Webb's bond was revoked and she was taken into custody, and that is when the
drugs were found.
