Fund Raising Underway for Annual Fireworks Show
The RABAC board for The Town of Inglis is starting to accept donations for this
years 4th of July Freedom Celebration and Fireworks display.We need to raise $5000.00 for
fireworks alone.Any donation amount will be greatly appreciated.We would like to make
this years celebration as wonderul as past events.We also would like to invite local orga-
nizations and churches to have fund raisers at this years event.If you would like to make
a contribution for the event or have a fund raiser for your church or organization please
contact Tanya Berecz at 447-0805 or town hall at 447-2203.
VFW Yard Sale
Yard Sales will dominate Inglis this weekend starting Saturday morning at 8AM
with a large VFW yard sale and farmer’s market as well as a community yard and bake sale
across from the Rock Store on the Jones property. Bring some money, have some fun and if
you were schooled at the Yankeetown School stop on down at 11:15 AM for a school tour
and start of a YTS reunion.
Yankeetown School Re-Union
Saturday June 12 starting at 11 AM will be a celebration and return reunion for
any student who attended Yankeetown School or for teachers and support people who
graced the halls of this long standing rock educational structure opened 74 years ago. The
party will be held and start at 11 AM at the Felburn Park of the Greenways and Trails south
east side of the Barge Canal. A group tour will come over to Yankeetown School where
