The Levy County S ervisor of ctions office is
and businesses to participate in a non-partisan "Pledge to Vote" campaign. Through this
campaign we hope to encourage voters to take a proactive role in this year's elections.
Participants will receive a "VOTE TODAY" yard or door sign to display on Election Day.
By partnering with us on this campaign, the Supervisor of Elections office will promote
each organization/business on the Levy County Supervisor of Elections Facebook page.
Supervisor of Elections Tammy Jones said, "We are excited about the opportunity to part-
ner with our community to get the word out about Election Day. Community involvement
is key to increasing voter participation. We are planning to expand the program for the
General Election to include information to the organizations and businesses about early
voting and requesting vote-by- Information was mailed on June 1, 2016 to businesses and
organizations found on local Chamber of Commerce's websites. If you did not receive in-

The members of LeAF, the Levy Animal Friends, a not-for-profit volunteer ani-
mal rescue organization, cordially invite you to visit the newly created cat room facility at
the Levy County Animal Services shelter. The three room facility features a main housing
area, an isolation room, and a cat visiting and play room. Individual air conditioning units
and rolling condominium-style cages add to the comfort of the cats while they wait for a
chance for a forever home.
LeAF has been actively raising funds since the group was formed in 2012. The
funds they raise go toward providing fuel cards for volunteers to transport rescued animals
