ent and making the transaction and taking possession of the methadone, the report stated.
The third incident took place on April 3rd. The fraudulent prescription had been
stolen from a Citrus County physician and forged, written out for 180, 30 mg oxycodone
tablets, according to the report. The pharmacy technician recalled the incident and gave
detectives a copy of the driver’s license that had been attached to the back of the fraudulent
prescription.
Investigators first spoke with the couple at a Crystal River residence, then at-
tempted to interview them in a patrol car. At first, Trunzo agreed to the interview, but then
decided to have her attorney present during the interview. Investigators told Trunzo that she
was under arrest and for her to remain seated. The report stated that she became upset and
attempted to exit the vehicle, so a detective grabbed her shirt near her left shoulder, in order
to stop her, and another detective handcuffed her. Detectives were able to interview Parks,
who agreed to answer questions without an attorney present. He said that the prescription
blank had been stolen, and he had written it out in the name of the person who had already
