"Unlivable" drug house, Homosassa,
demolished by county
A mobile home, a former `drug house' on S. Canna Lilly Ave. in Homosassa, is now
a thing of the past. All that's left is an empty lot. On Tues. morning, June 6, Citrus County
Sheriff Mike Prendergast, along with other county employees and neighbors, watched as a
bulldozer pulled apart the home, chunk by chunk.
Just a few months ago, detectives with the Citrus County Sheriff Office executed a
search warrant at the `drug house,' and three people were arrested.
The S. Canna Lilly Ave. house was the fourth `drug house' this year where County
