Vincente Loredo, 23, Inverness, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Of-

fice, June 7, charged with criminal mischief ($1,000 or more) and burglary to a structure or



dwelling with damage over $1,000. His bond was set at $12,000. Mr. Loredo is accused of

breaking into the Bank of America, located at 1007 North U.S. Hwy. 41 in Inverness. Entry

was made into the bank by way of a broken window that appeared to have been smashed



with a sprinkler head attached to a 2 feet-long section of PVC pipe. The report stated that

several other windows and the front door had scuff marks on them, indicating an attempt had

been made to break them, as well. A bank manager told deputies that nothing appeared to be



missing, and the only thing out of place inside the bank were several trash cans that had been



knocked over. Mr. Loredo told deputies that he'd been at the Florida Motel with friends that

evening, drinking and hanging out. He said he walked to the bank. However, the remainder
