Time for Inglis Commission
To Take Recycle Bins
With Doug Johnston
Food Ranch al-
lowed Levy County to
place recycling trailers on
the property adjacent to
the store several years ago
because the county didn’t
have a location for the trailers. The agree-
ment was not intended to provide a per-
manent location for the trailers, but as al-
ways Food Ranch has been willing to do
its share to assist the Inglis/Yankeetown
community. With that in mind permis-
sion was given to the county to place the
trailers there if the trailers were picked up
weekly, or more often if necessary, and
the yard was maintained and kept tidied
up. In fairness to the county they have
made a conscious effort to keep their end
of the bargain. But the time has come for
someone else to do their share and pro-
vide another location.
