N. Buttercup way. The trooper drew his gun and approached the vehicle with caution. The
registered owner of the vehicle was the passenger and identified the driver as Jonathan
Steven Peterson.
FHP troopers and deputies with the Citrus County Sheriffs Office joined in the
search for Peterson, who was later found in Inglis at 6490 SE Debra Ave. Peterson was
also charged with felony violation of probation (01-22-2013 through 01-19-2018 for an
aggravated child abuse conviction). He was held without bond.
Inglis Water Advisory Board
The Town of Inglis is in need of volunteers to serve on the Inglis Water
Advisory Board. This five member board serves in an advisory capacity.
The objective of the Water Board is to make recommendations regard-
ing matters relating to the development , use and management of water
resources within the Town of Inglis. This responsibility may include , but
not limited to, establishing rate structure, service availability, fees, water
supply, water conservation, sewer and Storm Water management. The
Town is in need of persons interested in the welfare of the Town. Please
