Nature Academy Summer Camp
The Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Ellie Schiller Homosassa
Springs Wildlife State Park will offer a week-long Nature Academy summer camp program
July 11-16, sponsored by the Friends of Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park and Prog-
ress Energy. July’s program is for children who are 10 and 12 years old.
The program includes four, half-day camp sessions from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.,
Monday through Thursday. The Friday session starts at 4:00 p.m. with an overnight stay in
the park. The June summer camp for children ages 8 and 9 years old is filled. If you would
