Floral City man killed, crashing into fence
A traffic crash in Floral City, April 25, took the life of Brian William Robb, 50, of
Floral City. The crash occurred on E. Trails End Rd. in the area of S. Withlapopka Dr. at
11:50 pm. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Mr. Robb was driving a 2001 Ford Ex-
plorer sports utility vehicle, traveling south on E. Trails End Rd. and, for unknown reasons,
departed the roadway, traveled onto the south shoulder and collided with a fence. Mr. Robb
sustained fatal injuries and expired at the scene of the crash. The report stated it is unknown
if Mr. Robb was wearing a seatbelt, that alcohol was not a factor, and there are no charges
in the crash.
