during camp. Camp Good Hope brings together elementary school aged children who have
endured similar losses at a time when they need guidance and understanding. The children
are encouraged to deal with their feelings.
Teenagers often are seen as hard to reach because they are no longer children, but
not yet adults either. Teen Encounter provides grieving teens in middle and high school an
opportunity to talk through concerns and fears with other teens. "Adolescents have unique
grief reactions and coping skills," said Social Worker Sarah Morley. "Therefore, teens need
services that are directed toward them." Good Grief assists adults with how to cope with the
array of emotions they commonly experience during grief.
There was no cost for Family Day Camp and lunch was provided courtesy of Gobblers
Eatery located in Inglis. The Nature Coast Sportsmans Club and Bubba Fishing Club also
made donations to Family Day Camp. Family Day Camp is supported solely through commu-
nity donations, corporate sponsorships and grants.

Motor Taken from Boat on River
proposed King Road Mine
A 25 hp Mariner outboard motor valued at $700 was reported as stolen from a Palm
Circle Drive residence in Inglis, May 11. The owner told Inglis police that she had noticed the

motor missing that morning. The report stated that the vessel, a 1993 16' Playbuoy Pontoon
Boat, was securely moored to the owner's private boat dock directly behind her residence on
a canal leading to the Withlacoochee River; the motor had been unbolted from the vessel,
and the gas line and engine wiring harness had been cut.
A partial footprint was visible on the vessel and appeared to be from a combat boot.
Police canvassed the neighborhood and the owner agreed to locate the serial number so the
serial number of the motor could be listed in the national and state databases as stolen.
