Crystal River Mother, daughter &
boyfriend arrested on the Citrus County Sheriff s Office,
drug charges
Three Crystal River residents were arrested by
May 16, when a search warrant was executed at 2279 N. Reynolds Ave. , the residence of
Teresa Tamme, 56, her daughter Tiffini Tamme, 32, and her daughter s boyfriend, Jerry R.
McKay, 30. All were arrested on drug charges.
According to the arrest reports, the search was the result of the sheriff s office uti-
lizing a confidential informant to make a controlled purchase of 30 mg oxycodone pills at
the residence from Teresa Tamme on April 27, in exchange for money.
During the search of Teresa Tamme s bedroom, agents found a 15 mg oxycodone
pill and a 40 mg oxycodone pill, but she did not have a prescription for the 15 mg tablet. as
she did for the 40 mg tablet. She admitted that she occasionally sold her prescription medi-
cation to subsidize her income. Small baggies were also found with with check marks that
were consistent with evidence obtained during the controlled purchase.
Tiffini Tamme, said, since the beginning of the year, she had purchased ephedrine
tablets (over-the-counter decongestant tablets) approximately six times for Vince Baker (the
legal limit she could purchase within that time frame), knowing they would be used in the
manufacturing of methamphetamine. She said she gave the boxes to her live-in boyfriend,
Jerry McKay, who presented them to Baker and gave her money from Baker in exchange.
She said she had used methamphetamine as recently as two to three weeks previous and that
she enjoys using the drug.
The reports stated that the CCSO has dealt with McKay in the past and is aware
