At 2:18 pm, May 14,
Office, Division of Fire Rescue responded to a fire in Homo-
sassa at 5012 S. Pastel Pt. Engine 3 from Homosassa arrived
at the residence at 2:29 pm to find a 1200 sq. ft. manufactured
home, with fire showing at the front entrance and a small 200
ft. by 200 ft. brush fire. Firefighters conducted an aggressive
interior attack on the fire and a search of the home for oc-
cupants and extinguished the brush fire. One small dog was
found and rescued from the residence without injury.
The fire was quickly brought under control at 2:37

A single-vehicle crash in Bronson on Sunday afternoon, May 15, resulted in the death of
the driver, 34 year-old Gerald Charles Dukes, Jr., of Bronson, and serious injuries to the
