Local Employers Now
Hiring Grads
CareerSource Citrus Levy Mar-
ion will hold its second annual "Hire a
Grad" Job Fair on May 29 from 10 a.m. to
2 p.m. at the College of Central Florida's
Klein Conference Center in Ocala.
The job fair is designed to con-
nect recent graduates to more than two
dozen local employers interested in hiring
candidates with postsecondary degrees or
certifications. It is open to graduates from
area institutions as well as those who at-
tended elsewhere but have returned to the
area.
CareerSource Citrus Levy Mari-
on CEO Rusty Skinner said that the Hire a
Grad Job Fair addresses questions college
graduates and their parents often have
once they ve earned a degree, chiefly how
and when will they find employment?
"After all their hard work and investment
in higher education, the question for many
graduates is `what about my hire educa-
tion "? Skinner said. "The `Hire a Grad
program is all about providing answers
and, ultimately, jobs."
In addition to the job fair, gradu-
ates are invited to attend the Hire a Grad
Workshops on May 22 from 1-4 p.m. at
CF's Ewer's Century Center in Ocala.
