Levy Library System Honors Its Volunteers
The Levy County Public Library System recently honored their many enthusiastic
volunteers. The luncheon was held in April, at the Levy County Quilt Museum in Chiefland.
Perkins State Bank donated the fund to provide the delicious lunch for the group of 42. The
good food and fine service was provided by Winnelle Horne.
Bonnie A. Tollefson, County Library Director, acted as master of ceremonies. Joining
the library director and the librarians in honoring the volunteers were Levy County Commis-
sioners Tony Parker and Nancy Bell and Library Advisory president David Kendall
Following lunch, Director Tollefson, Nancy Bell, Tony Parker, and David
Kendall praised the volunteers for their selfless service and said that they give the best thing
that they could give - themselves.
The librarians from the five county libraries introduced their treasured volunteers
