gm ectasy), leaving the scene of a crash with property damage, possession of cannabis less
than 20 gms (4 gms) and possession of drug paraphernalia (a pipe with marijuana residue).
His total bond was set at $4,500. The report stated that a deputy managed to catch up with
Jones' 1981 Toyota pickup truck, after a report of it being involved in a hit and run crash at
Forest Dr. and Independence Hwy. in Inverness. The vehicle description and tag numbers
matched Jones' vehicle and license plate. Jones told the deputy that some portion of his
truck struck the other vehicle's mirror, causing it to fall off when he passed it. A positive
alert on the vehicle by a narcotics trained K9 resulted in the truck being searched and the
items found. Jones began perspiring profusely and said he was going to pass out, so he was
evaluated and medically cleared by medics prior to being arrested.
Whitney Lauvon Mast, 24, 3701 E. Jerome St., Inverness, was arrested by the Cit-
rus County Sheriff's Office, April 30, charged with sell, manufacture, deliver or possess a
controlled substance(methamphetamine 8 grams) with intent to sell, manufacture or deliver
it, with her bond set at $5,000. The report stated that deputies were in a parking lot and saw
a Nissan Altima fail to stop at a stop sign. A traffic stop was made. The report stated that the
driver was nervous and told deputies about methamphetamine in the car that belonged to
