the motorcycle, was transported to Ocala Regional Medical Center in Ocala, FL, where he
later expired from injuries sustained during the crash. He was not wearing a helmet, accord-
ing to the press release. Mr. Corradina, the driver of the SUV, was not injured in the crash
and was wearing a seatbelt. The press release stated that unspecified charges are pending.

in Wilmer Hager, of Homosassa, was killed in a single vehicle

crash in Lecanto at 12:15 am, May 6. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Mr. Hager
was driving a 2004 Lincoln LS (luxury sedan), traveling west on Norvell Bryant Hwy. ap-
proaching N. Brentwood Cir. at a high rate of speed. Upon cresting a hill, Mr. Hager lost
control of the vehicle which rotated, departed the roadway, collided with a large wooden
billboard sign, and overturned several times. Mr. Hager, who was not wearing a seatbelt,
was ejected from the vehicle. He sustained fatal injuries and expired at the scene of the
crash.
