a Lake County, FL warrant, and at the time of his arrest he was in possession of the drugs,

paraphernalia and forged currency.

James Little Brantley, Jr., 54, homeless in Beverly Hills, was arrested by the Citrus



County Sheriff's Office, March 26, at a S. Lee St., Beverly Hills residence regarding a petit



retail theft the previous day (March 25) from the Lecanto Walmart, where the loss preven-

tion officer said Brantley had attempted to steal two packages of diapers, but when he was



contacted by a store employee, he dropped the merchandise and left the store, headed north

on his bicycle. The store officer said he knew Brantley because he had previously stolen



from the store and has a warrant for his arrest because of that theft. The store officer pro-



vided video surveillance of the March 25 attempted theft. Brantley was charged with felony

retail theft due to previous convictions for theft on March 21, 2012 and Oct. 12, 2015. He
