Floral City woman killed in Sumter county crash
A 19 year-old Floral City woman was killed in a single vehicle traffic crash in
Sumter County, April 19. The crash occurred at 2:15 pm on county Rd. 49 at County Rd.
319. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Angela Holloway was driving a 1999 Chev-
rolet Lumina, traveling north on County Rd. 48, when she failed to negotiate a curve in the
roadway. The car traveled onto the north shoulder, rotated clockwise and collided with a
tree. Ms. Holloway sustained fatal injuries and expired at the scene of the crash. According
to the report, she was wearing a seatbelt.
