Pet Patrol
Paving to begin on Fort Island Trail
Citrus County Board of County Commissioners has contracted D.A.B. Construc-
tors, Inc., to perform the Fort Island Trail Resurfacing (SCOP) Project. Paving is expect-
ed to start on Tuesday April 18, 2017 and anticipated date of completion is May 5, 2017.
Shoulder work and final striping will be completed by June 5, 2017. The Project area starts
at West Dixie Shores Drive and extends approximately five miles west. If you have any

The Southwest Florida Water Management District (District) has closed all District
managed campgrounds throughout our 16-county region during Florida s wildfire emer-
gency event. The following District managed campgrounds are closed until further notice:
