surgery and appears to be recovering well! Dr. Ladue at Keene Veteri-
nary Hospital in Brooksville removed the tooth fragments in his jaw, the
bullet in his neck, the two in his front leg, and also neutered him. The
bullets in his head and belly, and the birdshot in his buttock couldn’t be
removed safely. Bobo’s leg is in a cast, and that is the biggest concern
at this time. Bobo was in a lot of pain during the first night after surgery,
but he’s feeling better now and doesn’t want to let one of the techs,
Kristi, out of his sight. He’s wanting her to make it all better! Bobo is
the sweetest boy, but still has a way to go. He is going to be a special needs baby, but he
needs and deserves to be pampered and spoiled. He has decided he would like to live inside
with air conditioning and cushy couches, and everyone involved with Bobo feel that he’s
earned that right!
It appears that Bobo was shot with five different weapons - plus he lost his mother
in the attack.... But, through it all, he has been loving, kind and gentle - and not a bother
to anyone. Thank you, to everyone who donated toward Bobo’s vet bill. The rescuers were
able to cover his bill, and have a credit for future expenses, which are expected, for this awe-
some boy. For additional information, please contact Patti Hoogewind by email at FSAn-
gel@aol.com, or you can send a card or donation to her at 7255 Griffin Rd., Brooksville, FL
34601. Please specify the donation is for Bobo.
