Hernando/Citrus MPO to Hold Public Hearing on April 19
The Hernando/Citrus Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Board will con-
duct a public meeting on Tuesday, April 19, beginning at 1:00 p.m., in the Board of County
Commissioners Chambers at the Hernando County Government Center, located at 20 North
Main Street, Room 160 in Brooksville.
Items scheduled on the agenda include: Suncoast Trail Bridge at U.S. 98, FDOT
projects status updates, and FTA 2016 Certifications and Assurances.
Accepting Applications for Vacancy on Beverly Hills Advisory Council
The Citrus County Board of County Commissioners is seeking applications for a
vacant position on the Beverly Hills Advisory Council. This board is made up of volun-
teers, appointed by the Board of County Commissioners, and is responsible for both short
and long range plans for the revenue generated by the Municipal Service Benefit Unit
(MSBU) assessment in Beverly Hills. The Beverly Hills Advisory Council meets at 10:00
am on the second Monday of each month at the Beverly Hills Community Building in
Beverly Hills. The member position is for a two year term that expires on January 31, 2018.
Applicants are required to be a property owner within the MSBU district and registered to
