Kayak Fishing COAST CHALLENGE A Catch, Photo, Release Kay-
Tournament
The 6th Annual NATURE
ak Fishing Tournament hosted by the Inglis Yankeetown Lions Club will be held Saturday
April 22, 2017. (Canoes and other non-motorized watercraft may also be used for this
event). The Captain's Meeting will be held at 7:00 PM Friday April 21st at the Lions Club
located at 22 59th Street in Yankeetown, Catch the longest individual redfish or trout, the
Grand Slam (combined length redfish/trout) or the "Mixed Bag" to win cash, trophies and
prizes! 2nd and 3rd place winners are also recognized with awards.
There is a Jr. Angler prize for participants 18 years and under. This event is for
everyone! The donation to participate is only $45.00 until March 22, 2017 after which a
late entry fee of $15.00 is added. A free Fish Fry Dinner will be provided at the Captain's
Meeting for all participants! Free Tournament T-Shirt and Captain s Bags. For additional

TS Candle Fundraiser extended through March 20!
Yankeetown School is having a fundraiser of candle sales that was originally
scheduled to end on March 13, but all orders and/or payments can either be turned in on
Friday, March 10, before Spring Break or on Monday, March 20, when students return to
school after Spring Break.
