There is no charge for clean recyclables brought to the expanded recycling center
at the Citrus County Central Landfill located at 230 W Gulf to Lake Highway in Lecanto.
Residents are reminded that illegal dumping can result in fines up to $500. The Citrus Coun-

of wet adult dog food, due to potentially elevated levels of naturally-occurring beef thyroid
hormones. The product is BLUE Wilderness, Rocky Mountain RecipeTM, Red Meat Din-
ner, Wet Food for Adult Dogs, 12.5 oz. can with UPC Code 840243101153 and Best By
Date (on bottom of can) of June 7, 2019. The FDA advised Blue Buffalo of one dog, affected
by this product, now fully recovered.
According to Blue Buffalo, initial symptoms of high levels of beef thyroid hor-
mone include increased thirst, urination and heart rate; weight loss and restlessness. Later,
more serious symptoms include vomiting, diarrhea and rapid or difficulty breathing. With
any of these problems, stop feeding your pet this product and contact your veterinarian im-
mediately.
