On March 19, agents with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and depu-

ties with the Levy County Sheriff’s Office received information of an indoor marijuana

grow operation at 10150 NE 103 Lane in Bronson. Officers interviewed the occupants of

the home, Eduardo Alvarez-Carillo, 44, and Clara Isis Exposito, 38, and discovered a hid-

den room within the home. Officers seized marijuana plants in various stages of develop-

ment. Some were harvested and ready for sale, while others were in the beginning stages of

growth. A total of 58 plants were seized with a street value of $58,000. The homeowner had

been stealing power to support the drug growing operation. It is estimated that thousands of

    

dollars of electrical power has been taken. Additional charges may stemifrom ay discovery.
