Denise Nicole Rowe, 26, 8663 E. Hooker Pl., Floral City, was arrested by the Cit-

rus County Sheriff's ofice, Feb. 24, carged with possession of a controlled substance. Her

bond was set at $2,000. The arrest report stated that a deputy was traveling behind a white

Chevrolet Blazer in Floral City on S. Florida Ave. that was swaying from one side of the

   

road to the other, and a traffic stop was made on the vehicle. The report stated that the male

driver gave permission for the vehicle to be searched, and during the search, Rowe, who



was a passenger in the vehicle, told deputies that she'd shoved a bag containing metham-

phetamine inside her pants as they were being pulled over. Rowe told deputies that she'd



made a mistake, that she doesn't use methamphetamnine, but was going to sell the drug to



get money to buy cigarettes. Deputies waited to let a female corrections officer retrieve the

drugs at the Citrus County Detention Facility.






