Citrus MOPARS Car Show
The 5th Annual All MOPAR Car Show will be held at a new location with more
room in the parking area of the Inverness Government Center behind 212 Main St on Sat-
urday, March 22. Pre-registration will be $15 or $20 the day of the show from 8 to 10 AM

"Thrifty but Nifty" Fashion Show
The Council of Catholic Women of Our Lady of Grace Church is hosting a "Thrifty
But Nifty" Fashion Show on March 20 at 12 PM in the Parish Life Center, 6 Roosevelt
Blvd., Beverly Hills, FL. Fashions from Citrus County charity thrift stores will be modeled.

Also featured will be Raffle Prizes, Floral Money Trees and Share the Wealth Drawings.
John Mason will cater the hot luncheon which will feature a favorite chicken recipe. Tickets
can be purchased for $15 by contacting Char Fontaine at 746-9490 before 8 pm. The dead-
line to purchase tickets is March 14th. Ticket sales are limited to 200 people. Proceeds go
to needed items for the church and charitable contributions.
Crystal River Garden Club Day Trip
Join the CR Garden Club on bus trip to Kanapaha Botanical Gardens. The Garden
Club of Crystal River is hosting a day trip to the Spring Garden Festival at the Kanap-
aha Botanical Gardens in Gainesville on Saturday, March 22, 2014. The Spring Garden
Festival features over 200 booths offering plants, landscape displays, garden accessories,
arts and crafts, educational exhibits and, of course, food. Also featured is a walk-through
butterfly conservatory, children's activities area, live entertainment and live auctions. The
proceeds benefit a local high school student through the garden club scholarship fund. For

Personal Hygiene items for the Troops Needed
We are collecting personal hygiene items to be sent overseas to our troops. Every-
thing from toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, Chapstick, mouthwash, deodorant, q-tips, lo-
tion, etc. Hand games, search-a-word, soduku, crossword, cards, are also welcomed. They
can be dropped off Sat or Sun from 8 am-3pm at Howard's Flea Market N9 &11 at Yard sale
