Patrick William Pearson, 19, 1484 S. Gettysburg Dr., Homosassa, was arrested
by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, March 4, charged with possession of a controlled
substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. His total bond was set at $2,500. The arrest
came as the result of a traffic stop, due to the vehicle Pearson was a passenger in having
inoperable brake lights and Pearson not wearing a seatbelt. The traffic stop was conducted
at 639 NE Hwy. 19 in Crystal River. The report stated that the deputy smelled a strong odor
