The report stated that the victim was reimbursed with the money stolen from his account,
which had been closed due to compromise.

The women, arrested after a four-month-long investigation by the IPD, were Vala-
rie Ann Davenport, 44, and Julianne Elizabeth Goldsmith, 24, both of 96 Azalee Ave., Inglis;
and Elizabeth A. Rydbom, 23, and Kimberly Ann Alderman, 22, both of 176 N. Hawthorne
Dr., Inglis. Each of the women is being held at the Levy County Jail on a bond of $500,000.
According to Officer John Dowd, Public Information Officer with the Inglis Police
Department, the focus of the investigation was neglect. He said the child ingested the un-
specified substances the day prior to receiving medical care. “The child suffered, then died,
as the result of neglect,” he said, “which is not the same as abuse.”
