Detectives Jimmy Anderson and Mike Wilkinson with the Levy County Sheriff’s

Office arrested Kelly Michelle Colson, 28, on Jan. 30 and John Wayne Pipkin, 36, on Jan.

reported to the sheriff’s office dating back to November of 2012. Taking this first tangible

lead in these cases, the detectives were able to recover stolen property, including six guns,

valued in excess of $2,940. Detectives obtained confessions from the two, who had also ut-

tered stolen/forged checks to area businesses in an amount in excess of $500. Both are being

held at the Levy County Jail. Pipkin was charged in five cases with a $665,000 bond, and

    

Colson was charged in two cases with a $165,000 bond.

 

A 14 year-old Homosassa boy was arrested by the CitrusQuarter Page

County Sheriff’s Office,

    

Jan. 30, charged with the sexual battery of a 6 year-old Homosassa girl. The arrest report

  

stated that the girl had disclosed what had happened to relatives. She o start in by

       

a Child Protection Team and gave them details of the incident sheov. had happened on



    

one occasion, only. The boy told detectives that he’d been exposed to pornography and was

curious. He was transferred to the Juvenile Detention Center in Ocala.

     



Steven Jacob Ortiz, 41, 42 Daisy St., Inglis, was arrested by the Inglis Police De-

             

partment, Feb. 1, on an out-of-county warrant. His bond was set at $5,000.

Jenna M. Foster of Inglis, a 24 year-old white female with a date of birth Nov. 4,

1988, is on the Levy County Sheriff’s Office’s Most Wanted List as of Feb. 4, 2013. She

      

is wanted due to violation of probation on an original charge of possession of a controlled

      

substance. She is to be held without bond.

     
