ground, and saw Boutiette leave in a silver Jeep.
Victim 3 told deputies that he went to break up a fight and noticed that Victims 1
and 2 had stab injuries to their chest, when he felt a pain in his leg and realized he'd also
been stabbed. Although he did not see Boutiette with a knife, he said, he believed it was
Boutiette who'd stabbed him. He said he heard shots being fired, but did not know who was
shooting the gun.
Victim 4 told deputies that the fight started when Boutiette threw a beer bottle at
Victim 1's truck. He said he'd watched the fight from about ten yards away, when Boutiette
came toward him and stated, "I'm going to kill you (expletive)," then stabbed him once
in the chest and once in the abdomen. He said he observed Victims 1 and 2 shoot at Bou-
tiette. According to the report, Victim 4 was transported from Citrus Memorial Hospital to
a trauma center in Ocala due to his injuries.
The report stated that two additional witnesses corroborated the accounts of the
four victims. Deputies began canvassing for Boutiette and located him near the general area
