Mulch
Residential Program starting
Since December 5 Citrus County Solid Waste Division is now offering a Residen-
tial Mulch Program starting December 5, providing course and fine mulch free of charge.
During the first two weeks of the program, citizens will be limited to 4 scoops (approxi-
mately 2 cubic yards). On Tuesday through Friday, staff will be available from 9:00 to
10:00 am to load mulch for citizens, and Saturdays from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm. If citizens

do not require assistance, they may visit during regular landfill business hours. Citizens are
required to have a tarp to cover the mulch in their vehicle and are asked to use Lane 1 when
