Travis Glen Savage, 25, 4283 N. Pine Dr., Hernando, was arrested by the Citrus
County Sheriff's Office, Dec. 23, charged with possession of a controlled substance (ap-
proximately 1 gram methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia (a syringe
containing methamphetamine liquid and a spoon with methamphetamine residue). His total
bond was set at $4,000. A deputy went to an E. Dawson Dr., Inverness, residence in an
attempt to possibly make a warrant arrest and found three people outside the back of the
residence. The deputy reported that Savage kept placing his hands in his pocket, so the
deputy asked it he could search him, and Savage said yes. The items were found on Savage's
person.
Domenick Henry Watson, 51, 159 SW Pleasant Hill, Fort White, was arrested by
the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, Dec. 23, charged with retail grand theft ($300 or more,
but less than $5,000). His bond was set at $2,000. According to the arrest report, Watson is
charged with taking a vacuum cleaner to a self checkout register at the Inverness Walmart
store and scanning a barcode for $24.84 and paying that amount rather than $352.06, the
retail value of the vacuum cleaner. Watson was taken into custody at the store by an asset
protection associate at 3:32 pm. The incident was captured on surveillance video and on the
cash register. The report stated that Watson also has pending charges for larceny.
